Bai Lixin hesitated for a second before walking through the corridor.

The corridor had only one path, and Bai Lixin followed it straight ahead. After walking for about a few minutes, another identical password-locked door appeared in front of him.

Bai Lixin repeated the process, placing his palm on the lock.

“Click!”

The metal door opened, revealing a white space in front of Bai Lixin.

Seeing the scene before him, Bai Lixin just stood at the doorway and didn’t continue forward.

Once again, he was seeing the white space he had awakened in earlier.

White walls, white floors, white ceilings, white honeycombs.

It was as if he had circled back to the room he was in before.

He paused for a second before continuing forward.

He walked to the cabinet he had emerged from earlier and slowly opened it.

Even though he was careful, the noise of metal friction still deafened Bai Lixin.

A sleeping woman lay quietly in the metal cabinet.

It was evident that this wasn’t the same room he had been in before, just a similar design.

The woman was wearing the same clothes as him, her slightly pale face adorned with a peaceful smile, as if she were having a pleasant dream.

Bai Lixin carefully pushed the cabinet back in and continued forward.

Just as he was about to reach the next door, a loud noise of metal friction suddenly sounded behind him.

“Click!”

The sound was particularly harsh to the ears.

Bai Lixin instinctively covered his ears and turned around.

All the honeycombs were tightly sealed. Bai Lixin’s gaze slowly swept across the room, finally stopping at the front.

At the end of his line of sight, the previously opened door was now tightly closed, the sound of the “click” just now had come from it.

In the extremely quiet room, there was only the sound of Bai Lixin’s breathing and the rustle of his clothes.

Bai Lixin cautiously withdrew his gaze and once again used the Trojan virus to open the password lock.

In front of him was another long white corridor, no different from the previous one.

For the next period of time, Bai Lixin seemed to be stuck in a loop. He kept walking forward, entering identical rooms and corridors.

Though the rooms seemed entirely identical, each time he opened a cabinet, there was a different person inside.

Both the rooms and corridors were just constructed the same way and weren’t the original ones.

But it could be confirmed that for every room he saw, there were nearly ten thousand people trapped in the virtual world.

As he walked, Bai Lixin silently counted the number of rooms he passed until he reached the 101st. When he opened the door again, the unchanging scene in front of him finally changed.

In front of him was a corridor with some other colors.

Windows began to appear on the walls.

Bai Lixin walked to the window and looked outside. When he saw the scene in front of him, he couldn’t help but pause for a moment.

It was all black.

But, he could still see something.

In the darkness, some debris and rocks were suspended, seemingly motionless but slowly shifting.

In front of him was an endless expanse of space!

Bai Lixin looked left and right. Although he couldn’t see the entire structure of the building he was in now, he still saw some components.

Sleek streamlined shapes, huge spindle-shaped body, futuristic weapons and propulsion systems.

There was no doubt that he was now inside a massive spaceship!

The spaceship had turned off its thrusters and was floating in space on its own, like a kite released from its string, drifting aimlessly in the sky.

Bai Lixin’s gaze moved again, and among these floating debris, he vaguely saw something orange, like a heavy piece of fabric.

That thing was hidden behind black rocks which covered most of it.

But the orange thing and the black rocks weren’t relatively still; they were slowly separating.

The orange and black gradually drifted apart, and eventually, Bai Lixin saw clearly what the orange thing behind the rocks was.

It wasn’t a heavy piece of fabric at all; it was an astronaut.

The orange was a spacesuit, and the heavy spacesuit had been torn apart, severed at the waist, leaving only the upper body floating in the sky.

The astronaut’s head was covered by a round transparent visor, preventing Bai Lixin from seeing clearly.

Through the torn section, he saw that the person’s body had turned purple and frosted over. Dark red substances flowed out, frozen before detaching from the body. They hamg stiffly on the cross-section, looking terrifying and horrifying.

Bai Lixin withdrew his gaze and continued walking forward.

This spaceship had a design resembling two shuttles connected by a thin middle section. It was as if two shuttles were connected by a thread.

The corridor connecting the two shuttles was the one Bai Lixin was currently walking through.

After passing through the long corridor, Bai Lixin arrived in front of the other shuttle.

Another iron gate with a password lock blocked his way, and above the gate was a piece of transparent glass. Bai Lixin looked through the glass and found a scene quite different from the quiet area he had seen before.

Unlike the sleeping people from before, there were people walking around behind this door.

Through the narrow glass, he could see a training hall with people inside. However, they were not many, only a dozen or so.

Most of them were training, with two or three resting on the side.

Just as Bai Lixin was hesitating to go in, the people inside who were training and resting suddenly stopped their movements at the same time and all headed in the same direction.

Judging from their well-trained and uniform movements, these people were clearly an organized and disciplined team, not just casual sky tourists.

As they left, the area behind the window became silent again.

After unlocking hundreds of password locks, Bai Lixin was very proficient at it.

He skillfully bypassed the password and quickly entered this area.

He didn’t know when those people would come back, so he chose to find the most secluded hiding place as quickly as possible to conceal himself.

Bai Lixin soon found such a place, a corner that had become dark because of the pile of training equipment. If one didn’t walk up close, his presence wouldn’t be noticed at all.

After he hid for a short while, the people who had just left returned.

However, these people had something extra in their hands.

It was one space gun after another.

Bai Lixin suddenly had a bad feeling in his heart.

Not long after, his bad feeling was proven true.

A two-meter-tall green-skinned alien walked to the front of the crowd, swinging a gun above his head while emitting a piercing laugh.

“Has our sneaky little cutie snuck in?”

The others joined in the teasing.

“Hahaha, let’s welcome our little cutie!”

“Guys.” The green-skinned alien pulled out a shiny silver object from his pocket. “Whoever catches this sneaky little cutie, this silver coin is yours!”

The cheering around grew louder.

“The hunting begins!”

With the green-skinned alien’s command, everyone dispersed, aiming their guns around and searching everywhere.

Bai Lixin calmly huddled behind the hidden gym equipment, secretly observing everything.

He was 100% sure that the “sneaky little cutie” mentioned by the green-skinned alien was referring to him.

He opened his backpack and took out his usual dagger.

This time, the dagger came out smoothly from the backpack. The cold dagger was held in the pale hand of the young man, and for a moment, it was hard to tell which was colder, the dagger or the young man’s hand.

A tall and thin alien slowly approached.

Bai Lixin held his breath, the veins on the back of his hand tightening. His gaze slowly slid from the alien’s head to its neck, thinking about where to strike to defeat the enemy more easily.

Finally, the alien arrived at the deserted training equipment area and began to circle slowly.

Just as the alien was about to discover Bai Lixin, in the blink of an eye, Bai Lixin’s eyes narrowed, and he stabbed towards the alien.

Before the alien could cry out, Bai Lixin covered its mouth.

He pressed the shocked alien down in the concealed darkness, the dagger in his hand raised and then fell.

Just as the dagger was about to pierce the alien’s neck, a sudden change occurred.

Bai Lixin only felt the force in his hand suddenly loosen, and the dagger, which had just been sturdy and reliable, disappeared into thin air.
