Little Overlord interjected impatiently, “Enough, save the praise for after the task is completed. It’s disgusting to flatter now. Shiying, where are the coordinates for the leader of the Rebel Alliance?”
The man with gold-rimmed glasses looked displeased but still opened the map in his mind, “Follow me. It’s underground, through a secret passage.”
The six of them walked along the dark passage, occasionally encountering a few people.
One player couldn’t help but sigh, “There are so few people. It seems like everyone has gone out in full force. Those fools, when they arrive there and find out it’s an ambush by the Black Bronze Legion, it’ll be too late for regrets.”
Another player added, “It’s their own fault for being stupid. They didn’t even consider who they were up against.”
The man with gold-rimmed glasses raised his chin slightly, “Shh, keep quiet. Now is not the time to relax. Let’s bring the leader of the Rebel Alliance back first, and then we can celebrate.”
The player who was good at flattery quickly agreed, “That’s right, Vice President is right. But these fools probably never imagined that they’ve been searching for the leader of the Rebel Alliance all along, yet he has been here in this Rebel Alliance.”
As they spoke, the man with gold-rimmed glasses had already found a hidden secret room, and the six of them, like agile rabbits, slipped in through the entrance.
Underneath the entrance, there was another world, with a labyrinth of intersecting passages.
Little Overlord lightly tapped the wall and discovered that it was hollow inside, and there seemed to be something hidden in the walls.
He cut open the wall with his knife and found a dense network of cables inside.
“These passages are like a maze.” One person whispered, “Could all these walls be filled with wires?”
Little Overlord: “Hurry up, Shiying.”
The man with gold-rimmed glasses seemed to dislike Little Overlord’s commanding tone, but still continued to lead the way towards their destination according to the map.
They hadn’t walked far when suddenly there was a sound of breaking air behind them.
Little Overlord quickly turned around, but it was too late.
A metallic net made of unknown material enveloped them all, simultaneously releasing a powerful high-voltage electric shock.
In that moment of being electrocuted, all six of them lost their fighting capabilities, collapsing weakly to the ground.
In their confusion, they heard the rustling footsteps.
In a daze, Little Overlord saw a person he wanted nothing more than to tear apart and drink his blood.
He gritted his teeth, “Bai! Li! Xin!”
