If he never interrupted the situation between the professor and Grammo, then there was a high chance that he would have been convinced to leave the school of his own accord. He would be expelled in a sense. But since Patty inserted himself between them and added a betting clause, then at least now Grammo had a chance to stay in the school.
“I can’t believe that happened,” Grammo said, scratching his head.
“Relax man.”
“How can you relax? We’re about to be expelled, you know?!”
“Not if you perform well, right? Or are you not confident in yourself?”

Grammo looked at Patty. “Thank you?” He simply couldn’t comprehend Patty’s relaxed and worry-free attitude. It’s like he had just been given the best news of his life, unlike in reality where they were basically given a death sentence.

Patty’s face looked like he was waiting for Grammo to give him a golden award for saving him from this situation. But Grammo simply didn't think that way. Of course, he was thankful to Patty that he cared enough to interrupt the Professor, but the fact remained that he still bet on their expulsion without even asking him for his opinion.
Yes, Grammo was probably going to be expelled if Patty didn’t arrive on time, but at least it would be on his terms. He wouldn't be forced to perform for the entire classroom in a week.
But when he thought about it some more, Grammo slowly accepted the situation and even thought that it would be good practice for him. Why was he afraid to perform just then? Wasn’t his entire goal to perform for the whole world and to reach their ears? Then just a classroom of less than thirty students shouldn’t be a problem at all.
And Patty didn’t have to involve himself in this bet at all. He could have just ignored them and went on his merry way to the classroom as if he didn’t hear anything at all. Instead, he put himself at harm’s risk just because he wanted to help. There was no benefit for him to do so, but he still did it anyway.

It wasn’t just because he was lazy, but because it could endanger his life as well. He still didn’t know what would happen to him if his energy bar went to zero. His absence through all of this would give the Professor enough cause to justify his expulsion.
But because of this bet, Patty gave himself a chance to skip through the physicality tests without being punished for it. The more Patty thought about it, the better his plan got. If he won the bet then he would get an automatic perfect score in his physicality tests as if he just broke a running track record that even the fastest guy in school couldn't beat–at least that was what it would look like because of his perfect score in the test.
Not only that, Patty sneaked in a really sly advantage for him in the bet that the Professor didn’t think about. In the whole week of preparation for Grammo, they will be exempted from any school work, be it tests, quizzes, or exams. They would get passing grades automatically without even doing anything. They didn’t have to study–they didn’t even have to take the test at all!
This could mean that Patty didn’t have to go to school at all! He would have a week off!
This was the best part of the bet because it would happen regardless of the outcome at the end of the week. So if Grammo thought that Patty wasn’t being lazy because of this bet, then he misunderstood it tremendously. Patty was being the pinnacle of laziness.
And Patty didn’t even have to think about this plan at all. It all just came to him like lightning. He spoke about the bet without any forethought behind it. He didn’t think about every advantage and benefit he would get from this bet when he said it. Only when the bet was solidified and official that he understood what he had just done. It was a place that had school chairs stacked upon itself, teacher desks leaning on the walls, and blackboards stored vertically.This was the place where the faculty stored furniture and broken equipment.
Grammo followed Patty’s finger and saw that it was directly at a chair sitting in the corner all by its lonesome. This was different from all the other school chairs because this one had wheels under its legs. This wasn’t just a school chair, it was a Professor’s chair! Grammo didn’t know why a faculty member got rid of this chair because it didn’t look broken at all.
But the question remained. What did Patty want to do with this rolling chair?
Patty answered that question when he walked towards it with a smile on his face and planted his butt firmly on its cushioned seat. He nodded in satisfaction as he judged the bounciness of the seat. He used his feet to roll the chair a few inches to check its functionality, and he judged it to be satisfactory. All in all, it was a good rolling chair.
Patty then looked at Grammo and said, “throughout this whole bet, there is only one thing you need to do.”
Grammo looked at the rolling chair and guessed what he was going to say.
“I need you to push me everywhere and anywhere I want to go.”

If anyone were to look at them, they would think that Patty was a disabled person and Grammo was his caretaker. But if they knew Patty, then they would know he was just lazy.
But aside from being a very good way to be lazy and not walk all the time, this was also a needed solution for Patty’s energy problem. If he wanted to help Grammo become a better singer, then he needed to travel anywhere without worrying about his energy problem. By sitting on a rolling chair, Grammo could push him anywhere they went and Patty would only lose a minimal amount of energy compared to walking there.

The system repeated the notification to show the mission again. This time, Patty couldn’t help but finally confront the system.
“You can think for yourself, can’t you?” he said while looking at himself.
