At this point, that is crazy, insane, and utterly insane.

Lord Kurlan En Samain

No, his title had fallen, so now he was simply Kurtlan Samain. What was he doing right now?

Naturally, he had met the person he needed to meet.

Retendon En Mutarion smirked and laughed.

“Ha, well, ha!” as he saw Samain.

Watching Retendon laugh like a gangster, Samain’s knights stepped forward to block Samain.

“Easy, let’s take it easy. Are you going to go anyway?”

“Huh?” Retendon casually said, raising his hand.

“Your Grace, what kind of madman is this?”

“The idiots can’t handle a sword, Your Grace.”

“Your Grace, this scoundrel can’t even understand human speech. Should I just slap him?!”

Your Grace, Your Grace, Your Grace!

The louder Your Grace, the clearer Samain’s position became. Samain was not your grace. He wasn’t a lord. Now he was in the shoes of a common criminal, and if he were taken now, he would be dead. Their positions were so different.

“Do you think I’m going to blink at such childish provocations, Mutarion?” Samain asked.

Retendon was laughing as if to say, “Oh, he’s playing around.”

“Why would I provoke you? You’re finished here anyway.”

Retendon’s smirking face truly belonged to the winning madman. His mouth and his eyes were both smiling. He was genuinely enjoying himself, and that made Samain’s knights even more fearful. In terms of numbers, Samain’s knights had a slight advantage, but Retendon had consistently maintained his composure.

“You’re just a lowly lord’s son!”

“Are you only going to be a sinner? Oh, by the way, that bastard’s mouth is really dirty, isn’t it? Seriously. Come at me quickly, or should I go?”

As Retendon moved forward, Samain’s knights were taken aback and stepped back. Your Grace, please step back! The chief among the guards quickly pushed Samain back.

“I’ve been feeling a bit frustrated lately. My unofficial lover isn’t playing with me, you know. Things have been a bit tough lately, right?”

Retendon twirled his sword around.

“Of course, I tried it with some other folks, but it just didn’t feel the same. You need someone who really challenges you, right? They need to give you that intense feeling. But damn, they all just back down. Do you get what I’m saying?”

Recently, Retendon has been clashing with Pow, of course. It was only natural. There was a trial, and then the queen disappeared, so there was hardly any room for it. But Retendon’s mind was regularly stabilized by periodic sparring, and there was no time to spar with Pou. However, Retendon needed Pou. And perhaps Pou needed Retendon as well. But their timing just didn’t match.

In such a situation, having the opportunity for this fight, how could Retendon not feel pleased? Moreover, the opponent was Queen Sihye-bum, someone Retendon had been ordered to bring in.

All he had to do was bring her in. Oh, I’m so excited. But why aren’t these guys charging?

“If you’re not coming, I’ll go.”

Oh, I’m really itching.

“Aren’t you coming?”

“That… seems insane.”

One of Samain’s knights mumbled. He dared to refer to the duke as “that” in an expression, but no one, not even the knights from the king’s side, objected. And when the madman started charging, the knights of Samain began to scream, waving their swords as if they had met a ghost.

As the fateful meeting of two madmen unfolded,

Sidran was knocking on Iris’s workshop door. He had attempted to unlock it with a key, but people pointed out that Iris was a magician and might have set up some traps, so he couldn’t do that. Just as Iris couldn’t win against him directly with magic, he also couldn’t overcome the archmage’s traps by simply wielding his sword.

“Leiden, it’s Sidran.”

Bang, bang, bang, bang.

It wasn’t a knock; it was a harsh sound that reverberated, and the eight household fairies huddled together, trembling. Eventually, the seven household fairies pushed one of them forward.

“You’re being called.”

“Quick, get out, get out.”

“Heh, heh, cheer up.”

Pushed forward, Leiden grumbled.

“Why does it have to be me again? Is it a crime to be able to speak human language?”

However, it was futile. The door was shaking as if it would shatter at any moment. After the door broke, the man entering would surely be terrifying, so the household fairies were too frightened to think about what he might do to them.

Eventually, Leiden was pushed aside by the household fairies, tumbling off the table and landing in front of the door. Ugh. Leiden groaned as his head thudded against the door, and from outside, the terrifying man inquired.

“Leiden? Are you in there?”

Oops, I guess he heard it.

Now she couldn’t pretend anymore. Leiden suppressed the urge to cry and opened her mouth.

“W-who’sss there…?”

“I’m Sidran En Letairda. Do you remember me?”

I don’t want to answer. Really. Leiden nodded with his head held high, but Sidran, who couldn’t see Leiden’s nod, gave the door a threatening thud. In that instant, Leiden was startled and answered.

“Yes! I-I, I remember. Mmmmhm!”

“Open the door.”

Heee, I don’t want to.

Leiden turned her head and looked at the seven household fairies. The fairies nodded their heads vigorously.

“No, no, we opeeeeened!”

“Is, is it baaaad?”

“Iris, she’s hurt. If you could be with her, I’d be grateful.”

“Iris. Magic. Very good. Is it important?”

“She’s seriously injured. Iris is pregnant, and someone kidnaps her and beats her, and she’s been sleeping all this time. I hope you can be there with her.”

The situation had become unbelievable. Who could be trusted as the surveillance agent? Sidran came to a conclusion after careful deliberation: these household fairies. They would never be influenced by anyone. Iris’s creatures. They belonged to Iris, so they wouldn’t even be influenced by themselves. I don’t know how much their intelligence can be trusted, but it’s better than nothing.

“Open the door, Leiden.”

When the door opened, a translucent household fairy with fluttering wings appeared. He had a pale face and asked with astonishment.

<Is Iris really seriously injured?  >

As if she hadn’t noticed that the other person couldn’t understand her, she was completely shocked. Only then did Sidran realize that these household fairies were very delicate beings with emotions. The fairy was completely terrified. He was staring at Sidran with eyes on the verge of tears. His gaze looked as if warmth were returning to cold, coagulated blood. Sidrane reached out his hand, and Leiden landed on that hand.

“Iris is fine now, but I need you. Will you come with me?”

Leiden looked up at Sidran. The face before him was quite different from what he remembered; it was very severe. Leiden stared at that face and then nodded.

“Leiden. I’ll come with you.”

Sidran managed to offer a reassuring smile to the household fairy. He had no choice but to rely on Leiden and the other household fairies to take care of Iris.

Now, with Sidrain’s guidance, the fairy was on her way to see Iris and find out what had happened to her.
