Feeling the tingling sensation spread through my body, I concentrate on the interaction between the crystal's energy and my regenerative skills. It's a strange sensation, almost like a controlled burn, at the same time i can feel the vitality hindering the energy.

As the crystal's energy works its way through my bloodstream, I can sense a subtle change within me. My body begins to adapt, accelerating the healing process, i cant say if is becase my skill {Regenerative Adaptability} or because an skill level up.

With each passing moment, I can feel my hand knitting itself back together each second more fast. The wound closes up, leaving behind only a faint scar as evidence of the experiment that disappear the next second.

This newfound understanding of how the dark corrosive crystal interacts with my body opens up a world of possibilities. With careful practice and control, I could harness this power to improve not only my regeneration but possibly other aspects of my skills as well, specially in the moment of evolving aging my skills.

i can develop a function that reduce the impact of this kind of energy or even all kind of energy that makes my regeneration slower.

after that continue hunting lorgs, in a zone near to the lorgs respawn point, and using the fragments in each moment i could, then i return to my new home

Days turn into weeks, and I adapt to my new environment, honing my skills using the crystal while also navigating through the war zone. I immerse myself in the bustling city, trying to make it feel like home. Meanwhile, I keep in touch with Jorge, who updates me on life back at the shelter.

Despite the challenges, I'm determined to make it work in this new city. Each day brings new obstacles, but I hold onto hope for a better future.

I explore the city's bustling streets and diverse corners, trying to find my place amidst the chaos. Although the situation is different, the feeling of uncertainty remains constant.

Over time, I find work at a small local shop to blend in with the regular people and help my family with the financial aspect of our move; relocating isn't cheap, especially with expenses for my sister and mother. I start to establish a routine. It's an adjustment, but I'm grateful for the stability I've found.

However, news from the previous city keeps coming, leaving a knot in my stomach. I stay in touch with Jorge, who updates me on the events at the shelter. Apparently, things are relatively calm there, but the uncertainty about the future still lingers.

In my new apartment, nights are often long and lonely. I miss the familiarity of my old home and my family. But I strive to push forward.

As two months pass, my situation gradually improves. I find a better job, and my apartment becomes a true home. However, the memory of the previous city never fully fades, motivating me to level up in case I need to run again. The thought of being in that situation but with my family nearby makes me nervous.

Moreover, I learn that the college won't start soon as the city was destroyed. It's another setback, but I'm determined to keep improving myself, knowing that the skills I gain might be crucial in the uncertain times ahead.

In the last months, my skill levels have increased significantly, especially for {Regenerative Adaptability}, but that's normal considering it was at a low level and increases with every damage I receive. I also learn that I can now understand the adaptations that this skill provides.

One that surprises me is poison by CO2, but I realize that the city is not the clearest place to live, and even if it's in a low amount, I am inhaling CO2 that poisons me a little with every breath.

What surprises me even more is how specific it is for each type of damage, but it makes sense. It's different to cure one type of damage compared to another. It's fascinating how my body is adapting to the environment.

having a 100% of adaptation to electric damage was not a surprise, i am working as an electricity( a job that the college help me to get hire, usually they don't do this, but because the situation and as a mechatronic engineer  student, they help me, the great average in scores also help me), some times i shock my self with electricity.

Having an 800% adaptation for corrosive mist wasn't a surprise too, as I constantly use the crystal. Even more, after a month of using it, I had the idea to put it inside a wound for some time. It seemed like folly at first, but my motivation to become immortal and be prepared for another lorg invasion gave me the mental strength to do it.

As my skill {Focused Recovery Improvement} makes that the energy disappear while regenerate the dame when the energy starts to be near to an organ, specially for the vital organs and it speeds up the leveling of my skills, I decide to permanently embed the fragments in my arms and legs. The fragments aren't bigger than a coin, so they don't cause much discomfort, apart from the burning feeling of the corrosive mist.

At the beginning, I only embedded one, but a week later, my skills leveled up, making the mist damage last less than a second. So I decided to embed one more. I continued like that until now that all the fragments are embedded.
