"Tomorrow night, there's a banquet set up just for me. Would you like to stay an extra day and join me?" Garon snapped back to reality and looked at Luna next to him.

Under the illumination of the fireworks, her ivory skin appeared even more striking, so delicate it seemed that touching it might cause water to drip.

Luna shook her head, her voice gently elegant, "I met you here, and staying half a day is already delaying my schedule. As for the banquet, I've attended many similar events while traveling in human society, so I don't have any particular expectations."

Garon nodded and didn't press further.

However, something about Luna's words struck him as odd.

Staying for half a day is a delay?

Since when did time become so precious to dragons of eternal life, especially just half a day?

Such statements are usually made as a polite dismissal.

But clearly, Luna wasn't dismissing Garon.

"You seem to be in a hurry. Is something troubling you?" Garon mused.

Luna paused slightly, then shook her head, her voice slightly heavy, "I don't know. There's an urgent call from Dragon Island, summoning all metallic dragons abroad back home."

Dragon Island, the main stronghold of the metallic dragon species, was located in the vast and deep southern sea.

"A summons from Dragon Island for the metallic dragons? That must be no small matter."

Garon's gaze hardened.

Human civil wars, gods spying, and now trouble from Dragon Island; Noah's continent seemed to be getting more chaotic by the day.

Under the brilliant fireworks, Luna's gaze grew heavy, and a look of sorrow crossed her face, "Although I haven't gone yet, I guess the reason for Dragon Island's summoning of the metallic dragons."

Garon was slightly startled and asked instinctively, "Why is that?"

He paused, thoughtfully adding, "If it's confidential, you don't have to force yourself to tell me."

Summoning all the metallic dragons abroad wasn't a trivial matter. Such a gathering of metallic dragons would be a tremendously powerful force. If the metallic dragons had ambitions, there would be no power on Noah's continent capable of resisting them united.

In the main material planes of Noah's continent, the true dragon force was considered strong and flourishing compared to other creatures.

Luna smiled faintly, then shook her head, "It's no secret."

Being significantly taller than her, Garon had to look down slightly to meet her gaze.

"Do you remember the Dragon Soul Stone I gave you?"

Garon nodded, "Of course."

Without the Dragon Soul Stone, it would have taken him many more years to reach his current state. In a sense, Luna could be considered his benefactor.

"The creator of the Dragon Soul Stone was a revered elder from the Silver Dragon species."

"A highly respected Ancient Silver Dragon, recognized as the strongest on Dragon Island by all true dragons."

The mention of an Ancient Silver Dragon instantly sharpened Garon's focus.

A dragon that lived over a thousand years was referred to as an ancient dragon.

Such high-ranking true dragons, even if opposed by a red dragon, would command immense respect.

It had survived at least two lifespans.

Once from an old dragon to an ancient dragon and again from an ancient dragon to an Ancient Dragon.

"When I was still on Dragon Island, I studied magic under its guidance."

"After breaking through the ancient dragon threshold, it lived for another hundred and eighty years."

Garon's eyes widened.

Not just a newly ascended Ancient Dragon, but one nearing the existence of a Primordial True Dragon.

Such a level of Ancient Silver Dragon could even dare to challenge an incarnation of a deity.

There had always been such a peak true dragon residing on Dragon Island.

At the same time, he sharply noticed the problem.

"You mean, this Ancient Silver Dragon has reached the end of its lifespan?"

In the age range beyond the very old dragons, every two hundred years marked a significant enhancement for a true dragon, each one fraught with life-and-death crises, extremely dangerous, with few surviving the break from life to death.

From an ancient dragon to a primordial dragon, very few true dragons achieved such a breakthrough. This living historical Ancient Silver Dragon might soon pass away.

Luna looked troubled, sadness returning to her face.

"Unfortunately, that seems to be the case."

"At this time, for Dragon Island to summon us, I can think of no other reason."

Nehemiah must be the name of that Ancient Silver Dragon.

Knowing that such an existence was about to pass away, Garon felt an indescribable sensation.

He was an immortal dragon, not dying from the ravages of time, with only natural disasters and catastrophes posing a potential threat to his life.

Except for the high and mighty deities, beings like him were exceedingly rare.

Suddenly, he thought that a thousand years from now, when he was at his strongest, the silver dragon Luna before him

would likely have entered the Dragon Tomb and forever closed those beautiful eyes.

Garon sighed softly, then with a thoughtful look, asked, "Has that one considered becoming a Dragon Lich?"

Luna shook her head decisively, "Liches, those ugly and evil beings, no silver dragon would deign to transform into one."

She continued, "With Grandfather Nehemiah's strength, after his death, he's likely to ascend to Mount Celestia, where death might just be a new beginning."

Mount Celestia, the outer plane where the metallic dragon god Bahamut resided.

Ascending to Mount Celestia was indeed a possibility.

Ancient dragons and above, the god of metallic dragons would surely welcome.

But it depended on the Ancient Silver Dragon's own willingness.

Whether it was the god of metallic dragons or the mother of evil dragons, both of these prominent dragon deities were lesser gods, ultimately because true dragons are proud and do not worship deities.

In fact, all true dragons, regardless of whether their alignments were opposed, respected both dragon deities—metallic dragons respected Tiamat, and chromatic dragons likewise revered Bahamut.

But respect is not worship.

True dragons who worshipped dragon deities were rare, and those who did usually only did so lightly.

In the prime material plane, should a dragon deity incarnate descend, it would be hard to predict the outcome of a clash with an existence like an Ancient Silver or Red Dragon.

A Primordial Dragon, as long as it remained in the prime material plane and didn't give a deity a direct chance to strike, could provocatively challenge a deity in various ways.

"Ascending to Mount Celestia is also a good choice."

"It would be such a pity for such an Ancient Silver Dragon to pass away."

Garon replied.

Luna nodded, sighing, "Yes, but if Grandfather Nehemiah could break through the ancient limit and become a Primordial Dragon, that would be even better."

"This summoning by Dragon Island must be to gather the strength of the metallic dragon species to help Grandfather Nehemiah break through the limit."

External aids had a minimal effect on breaking through the life-and-death threshold; it mostly depended on oneself.

However, in such a situation, the metallic dragon species wouldn't miss any opportunity.

"I hope you succeed."

Garon sincerely wished.

Luna smiled, her spirits somewhat lifted, "Perhaps Dragon Island is summoning us to celebrate that Grandfather Nehemiah has already broken through."

Her gaze moved past the still dazzling fireworks, and she looked up at the night sky.

"It's time to leave. I'm glad to have met you on this journey."

"When I return from Dragon Island, we'll meet again in the far northern ice fields."

After speaking, Luna handed Garon a crystal and recorded his magical signature.

This was a communication crystal, not a magical gemstone, but a magical artifact.

It recorded the caster's magical fluctuations; once activated, a communication crystal with the same source of magic would resonate. Upon infusing magic, it could transmit sound and images.

Video calls, the magical version.

Magical fluctuations were akin to a phone number.

After explaining the use of the communication crystal to Garon, Luna no longer lingered. With a graceful leap, a pair of faint, semi-illusory cloud wings formed behind her, and she soared into the sky amid exclamations from onlookers, gradually disappearing into the night sky.

To avoid causing too much commotion, she habitually maintained her human form even while traveling.

After Luna left, Garon felt listless, losing interest in further strolling or sightseeing.

Transforming into a human form was only to satisfy Luna's curiosity.

He leaped up, his body suddenly rising tens of meters into the air, and in a flash of light, transformed into a gigantic silver true dragon, his dragon wings obscuring the bright moonlight, casting large shadows.

He didn't consider the feelings of others.

With a slight flutter of his dragon wings, Garon ignored the commotion and exclamations from the crowd below, and his body vanished from the spot in an instant.
